Wow, just typing that number feels weird.

I made it through 2020. I stopped posting because I unintentionally threw myself into my schoolwork in 2020 and still struggle with work/life balance. Anyway, maybe I can do better this year. In the meantime, here is

thefridayfive for today.

What was the best thing about 2020?

My Malory class. We read through the whole Le Morte Darthur. Honestly, I liked the people in my class more than the text itself. I'm probably not going to become a medievalist, but those classes sure attract a fun crowd.

What lessons from 2020 will you carry into 2021?

I can complete things even when they are difficult. Perserverance matters.

How did you spend your New Year's Eve?

Stayed home and watched a bit of New Year's Rockin' Eve.

Legend says what you did at midnight on New Year's Eve/Day is what you'll do all year. So what did you do?

I listened to music and tried desperately to stay awake... I didn't actually get to sleep until around 2, though. The only thing good about that is the music part.

What are you most looking forward to in 2021?

Maybe things will slowly start going back to normal? *crosses fingers*
