I also caught COVID around two weeks ago (my roommate has to commute for work, so she caught it first and accidentally passed it to me). I was lucky to be boosted, so for me it was mostly a day or two of roughness and the just a little coughing and mucus for a week. We also suspect Omicron based on our symptoms... really much more contagious than the previous strain!
You did the right thing by getting vaccinated, I've been hearing from healthcare coworkers that a large majority of those who have had to go to the hospital from COVID are specifically unvaccinated... Even if the vaccine didn't stop you from catching it, it likely stopped you from having to go to the hospital.
