[Error: unknown template qotd]Unfortunately, I have no plans... I wish that I did! Even though Leap Day in not a "holiday" in the traditional sense, it IS one of my favorite days. All I have in mind for today is some homework and a drive to San Pedro. I may try to listen to some music or write a poem to celebrate this day. I wish that I could think of something more exciting to do today. Well... maybe I'll do some writing!

[Error: unknown template qotd]I'm a terrible procrastinator! That may not be a great revelation, but it is the truth. I often leave work undone to do pointless things that waste time. I have some homework to get our ofr my hair, but what do I waste time by sitting here, listening to Madonna and Kelly Clarkson, and writing time entry! -_-;

[Error: unknown template qotd]Honestly, it varies. There are days when I forget about my email accounts entirely! I used to be better at staying on top of my email, but I guess the charm has worn off... I don't really need to look out for any super important emails in the first place. If am waiting for a reply, I will probably check my email several times in one day. ^_^;; Now that I have my iPhone, I'm trying to get better at checking my email.

[Error: unknown template qotd]Well, I have had quite a few songs stuck in my head for the last few days! I blame it on the Grammys. Most of them have been Adele songs. "Set Fire to the Rain," "Someone Like You," and "Rolling in the Deep" has all been playing on my mind's iPod. "Super Bass" by Nicki Minaj has also been on mental repeat, but I blame that one on the little girls who sang it on the Ellen DeGeneres show. ^_^;; Mostly recently, "Human Nature" by Michael Jackson has been in my head. Yeah, I blame that on Glee! XD

[Error: unknown template qotd]It's best to recoginze that some things are just out of your contorl. It's not fair, but it's life. However, you can control how you react when something happens. That's where you have the power! Don't get lost in the things that you can't do, and start thinking about the things that you can do. Even if something seems impossible, you can always show your perserverence. After all, "perserverence" is not just a word; it's many actions.

[Error: unknown template qotd]I am searching...

(I know that I could put much more into that sentence, but the short and simple approach seem to say everything.)

[Error: unknown template qotd]Bi, this is Robin!
When I don't have my head in the clouds or nose in a book, you can reach me at this number.
Obviously this is not one of those times!
Please leave a message.
The rest is silence...

Okay... That is not my real message! Clearly. I have no message now, and I prefer it that way. Eventually, I'm sure there will be a time when I do need one. When that time comes, I doubt that I will be able to put half as much personality or creativity into it as I have just done now.

[Error: unknown template qotd]I was born in the Year of the Dragon. :D This is my year. I am the same year as Hatori Sohma from Fruits Basket. iPod the longest time, I thought that I was born in the Year of the Snake (Ayame), but the Internet helped me realize my mistake. As it turns out, my birthday is ALWAYS before Lunar New Year. What's more, I am an Earth Dragon. Cool, huh?

[Error: unknown template qotd]Honestly, I do. I'm not sure if I should live my life that way, but I do have regrets for this year. I don't think there's anything major; I just regret not using time more effectively. That's more abut the past six years than just this one. It's been hard to make the best use of my time. This isn't just about "serious" work, but about fun things as well. I want to strive to make every second count! It's not so easy when I feel down and lack motivation. Sometimes, it feels like everything is a waste. *sighs* I have spent a lot of time struggling against my sadness. I don't know if it will seem any easier next year, but I can always try harder.

[Error: unknown template qotd]NEVER. There are definitely times when I feel insecure about my appearance, but I would never resort to something like that. I think that the only time that should ever be considered is for reconstructive purposes for people who have survived terrible accident. Otherwise, it just seems so conceited to me. Why spend so much money on a surgery that's risky for vain reasons? I know it may sound harsh and cliché, but if you have that kind of money saved for a pointless surgery, you should consider using it to help others instead! There are some people in this world who have real problems.

It's much better to learn to appreciate your own unique beauty! I believe that everyone has it. Even if it feels like you don't have a shred of physical beauty, there's always inner beauty. You can never focus on that enough.

[Error: unknown template qotd]It's tough to decided! II have lots of little things on my to-do list. Watching more anime is on tohe top of my list. I have two series that I would like to finish before the year is done: Durarara!! and FMA: Brotherhood. I think that's doable! I'm almost done with Durarara, and I'm very close to the end of FMA: Brotherhood as well. I've had the remaining episodes sitting on my DVR for awhile now, so it's time to watch them~ ^_^ Until next year, everything else that I do is just extra.

[Error: unknown template qotd]There are so many problems that need to solved in this world, but I think I would choose to end world hunger. I don't know why this issue speaks to me more than the issue of war. I just think it's so sad that people (men, women, and children) go to sleep each night without knowing where their next meal will come from. Even worse, some of them may not even live to see another meal. Living a life with such uncertainty abotu something as essential as food seems miserable to me. I am very grateful that I don't have to worry about such things, but I know that I am just one of the lucky ones. *sighs* War is horrible, but I just can't ignore the fact that people die of something that can be cured by a simple meal. Food is something that we often take for granted.

[Error: unknown template qotd]I'm glad that you asked! I've been making a Christmas list in my head, but I haven't written it out yet. Here's what I have in mind...

The Phantom of the Opera at Royal Albert Hall (Blu-ray)
This is really first on my list, but I just discovered that it doesn't come out until 2012! ;_; How disappointing. I wanted a Phantom-y present under the Christmas tree this year. Well, there is always a variety of other Phantom-y gifts that I can choose from if I want to have one for Christmas.

Les Miserables: The 25th Anniversary Concert (Blu-ray)
Now, here's something that I can hope to find under the tree! I can get my musical theater fix with Les Mis. Heck, I could even get the 10th anniversary concert instead because I I don't own that, either. *sighs* I would love to own the concert versions of this great musical!

Yu Yu Hakusho: Eizou Hakusho OVA
I couldn't let myself leave this off the list! I've been revisiting YYH a bit recently, but I haven't started a full-blown rewatch yet. I loved this series SO much when it was on Adult Swim & Toonami. I bought every single DVD that came out, including the two movies that weren't dubbed by FUNimation. It cost a ton of money, but it made me insanely happY! ^_^ I think that I should try to complete the collection with this little treat. I've never seen Eizou Hakusho before, and I'm curious to see what they do with the dub of the movie. So yeah, I really want to get this and support the anime industry for Christmas. I'm also thinking of getting the Blu-rays of the TV series, but I'm not so sure yet...

That's it! Just DVDs/Blu-rays for now. I may come back to update the list later, but this will do for now.

[Error: unknown template qotd]Coffee. Mmm... I enjoy the smell more than the taste! Hey, I even loved it before I started drinking coffee. X3 I literally have fond memories of waiting in line for my mom to get a cup at Disneyland and being surrounded by the smell.

[Error: unknown template qotd]A book. They're full of words that can cast a spell on readers. They can transport readers to any place ot time. New beauty can be found with each reading.

Other than that, I don't know! I've been to many beautiful places and seen many beautiful things. I'm fortune. I doubt that I could narrow it down to just one.

[Error: unknown template qotd]No, I haven't found a significant other or best friend on LiveJournal. In fact, I haven't met many people from the Internet in person. Unfortunately, I haven't been good about keeping in contact with the ones that I have actually met. I WISH I had one of those cool stories to tell! The Internet may be the perfect place for dishonest people to lie about themselves, but for earnest people, it can be a place to be truer than you are in "real life." That's why I think the Internet can be a great place to meet people.

[Error: unknown template qotd]I say snakes. Spiders really don't bother me. I actually quite like them. Now, keep in mind that my opinion of them might change if I was submerged in whole pit of them. Still, I think snakes might be worse. There would be too much hissing and slithering for my taste. The gain, snakes don't really bother me outside of this scenario. In fact, I probably chose snakes because they made me think of poison immediately. Of course, spiders can definitely be poisonous too although I can't tell if poisonous spiders or snakes are implied in this question. *shrugs* Anyway, I think snakes are worse in the end because they can bite you and coil around you.

...yes, these are the things I ponder in the middle of the night!

[Error: unknown template qotd]Recently, I was reminded of my longtime hope to go to Japan someday. Many other countries interest me, but that one deserves a permanent place on my list of places to visit. However, I would like to postpone my visit ntil I have someone who knows a lot about Japan and its culture to accompany me. I think that would enhance he experience. If I couldn't find someone to fit that description, I would want to go with a person who is enthusiastic about the culture at the very least. I can't be the only wide-eyed tourist on the trip!

I talk about this hypothetical trip as if I have the tickets in my hand and a plane to board! That is hardly the case. Indeed, there are many obstacles that stand between me and Japan, and I'm not even counting the Pacific Ocean as one of them. I would need a passport. Plus, I've never been out of the country before. I may want to go someplace where it would be easier to communicate like Canada or England before I tackle a a more exotic place like Japan. Then, there's the unholy number of hours spent in the air to get to Japan AND the time difference... Needless to say, I won't be hopping on the next flight to Tokyo any time soon.

[Error: unknown template qotd]I prefer dreary weather these days... I hope that doesn't say too much about my frame of mind! Well, at any rate, I like the typical coolness of overcast days that helps me focus and soothes me. The thing is, I don't like a lot of the same weather day after day. I'd rather have some Variety. I enjoy my gray days, but sooner or later, I'll be looking for the sun again.

[Error: unknown template qotd]Its been something like fifteen years if you can still call us "best friends forever" in truth. *sighs* I hope so. There's a closeness that I feel has been lacking in more recent years. I couldn't bear to let something this important die, though. I fear that the gap between us will widen as we continue to face the cold reality of adult life. I want things to be the way they were! I pray that there are as many joyful adventures for us in days to come as there were in the past.
