Writer's Block: Who's your daddy?
Oct. 5th, 2010 10:27 pm[Error: unknown template qotd]I'm sure that I could think of someone more well-known if I tried, but the first person to come to mind was C. S. Lewis. I hope that he counts. I loved the Narnia books so much as a child. There's no one I admire more than authors who write books that are still cherished today. Plus, I believe we could have some great conversations about Christianity. I also know that he was a step-father in real life. I think that one of his step-sons wrote a book about knowing him and I would love to read it sometime. Seriously, for me, who could be cooler than an English professor and enduring author?
I read this question earlier, but for some reason the word father stuck in my head instead of parent. I guess it's easy to think of who I would like to have as a father since I grew up without one. I haven't given much thought to who I coulc chose as a mother. Jane Austen...? *shrugs*
So yeah, I would like a parent who is a famous author. XD I suppose a famous composer would be an option as well, but I wouldn't want to go back to the time periods that some of my favorites inhabited. Well, I wouldn't want to go back to Jane Austen's time, either...
