Friday Five from out of nowhere
Sep. 11th, 2015 10:13 pmI won't pretend to fully understand this week's entry from
thefridayfive, but I will answer it anyway... I'm not sure if this is meant to be about the 9/11 attacks or if I'm just projecting that onto these ambiguous questions. However, I'm going to treat this like it's about my life.
1. It didn't happen?
No, nothing happened today. :( I slept way too much after staying up way too late. My motivation is in the dumpster right now. I did manage to post a hasty review on GoodReads, though.
If this is at all meant to refer to the 9/11 attacks, the world would be a different place if they never happened. We probably wouldn't have gone to war in the Middle East, and airport security wouldn't be as strict. Tragedy wouldn't be a defining event of the millennial generation.
2. What if it did?
If I had been very productive today an more in touch with the outside world, I would be very happy. I would have gone to school to work on my personal statement. Possibly, I would have seen my love interest there. I would confess my feelings and fall into his arms... ideally.
If this is about 9/11, it did happen unfortunately.
3. Did it hurt that badly?
I imagine so. Failure always hurts me. The fear of it is what motivates me to be so reclusive and passive. It's really something that I need to work on.
4. Would you remember?
Of course. Pain is always hard to work through.
5. And if you forgot?
I hope I never would.
