Day 7
In your own space, share a favorite piece of original canon (a TV episode, a song, a favorite interview, a book, a scene from a movie, etc) and explain
why you love it so much. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.
I'm running low on time and willpower, so I'm going to make this post quick. I was going to make a big elaborate post, but this will have to do for now.
Chronicles of Narnia: The Magician’s Nephew is probably my favorite book in the series. I just love the idea of travelling to other worlds (see also Doctor Who). The Wood Between the Worlds always fascinated me and sparked my imagination. What if they had jumped in more pools and visited even more worlds? I was also fascinated by the dead world of Charn and what took place there. This book always filled me with the sense of wonder that I love to find in fantasy. I know that The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe is the most well-known of the series, but I have always liked this one better.
This isn’t my absolute favorite or my newest fandom, but it’s practically my oldest if you count my days before the Internet. Anyway, I was thinking about this a lot as I was writing my

Since this entry seems so short, I will leave you with some music:
I loved Yu Yu Hakusho back in the day. By that I mean in the early to mid-2000s when it was airing on Cartoon Network in the United States. Who remembers this show? I first discovered it on Adult Swim and followed it to Toonami when it moved there. I did not have cable at the time, so I had to go over to my aunt's house to watch it. I also collected the ~33 uncut DVDs as they came out. It had the right mix of supernatural elements and pretty boys (namely Kurama) that was perfect for me at the time. "Daydream Generation" became my favorite ending theme. I like the original Japanese version, but I enjoy the lyrics and singer in the dubbed version more. Plus, when this finally appeared in the dubbed series, it was a revelation of how far we had come as we entered the home stretch of the series.
This next song is one of my favorites from Hamilton. The singing and rapping is fantastic and so is Angelica. I love the lyrics and emotion here. It doesn't matter that it's not totally historically accurate because it's brilliant!
