This is just going up because I fail at time...
Hi There, spacer! I'm so glad that we matched on one of these fandoms. I'm looking forward to whatever you may write for me, but here are a few ideas and guidelines.
I will be happy with whatever you do as long as you try to avoid my dislikes. I apologize for not finishing and posting this letter sooner. If you have already started brainstorming or writing something, feel free to continue with that as long as you try to avoid my dislikes.
General Likes: fluff, angst, gen, time travel, friends-to-lovers, enemies-to-lovers, hurt/comfort, family, pre-canon, post-canon, character studies, bad weather, adventure, UST, space travel, planetary romance
General Dislikes: Non-con, cheating, character bashing, PWPs, OOCness, AUs for fandoms or characters where they are not wanted by me, incest
Madoka Magica
I would like to see the girls together. Akemi Homura is my personal favorite, and I love her devotion to Madoka as she constantly tries to save her. Show the loneliness of this kind of life as a magical girl. I ship Homura with Madoka and Sayaka with Kyoko. Conversely, show me more of Kyubey’s species of aliens and how they were involved with the Earth’s development. What was it like with the other magical girls?
Star Wars: The Force Awakens
Rey: I chose all of these characters because I thought they were really interesting in the movie and would like to see more of their lives. Rey is no exception. I love female characters being awesome, and she is exactly that. I wouldn’t mind seeing something about her life pre-canon. I’m pretty much convinced that she is a Skywalker, so it would be cool if you could run with that. Conversely, after the movie, does she need to convince Luke to mentor her? Does Leia offer guidance? How does Rey react to having these new family members? Maybe working with Luke can help ease his guilt over his mistakes of the past. Maybe show her exploring strange new worlds and discovering just how vast the universe can be or how her life would have been different if she had been brought up as a Skywalker. Since one of my squicks is incest and my headcanon is that she is a Skywalker, please do not put them in a relationship unless you write them as not being related. Overall, I much prefer her with Finn.
Ben Solo | Kylo Ren: What was he like before he went over to the dark side? Was there one tragic incident that made him turn or was his fall a long time coming? Show me his early life and how he might have come to admire Darth Vader. Will Rey be able to redeem him like Luke did with Vader so many years ago?
Finn: Again, I would like to see some backstory here. I love characters like him who switch sides and fight for good. What was it like to be part of the First Order? Conversely, show his future adventures and heroism with Re. As I mentioned, I ship him with Rey, but romantic relationships are not necessary if you do not want to include them.
